Vision and Mission Statement
Vision: Build and foster a community of creative, compassionate,
and nurturing individuals within the table top gaming community. We will bring
back the joy of simple face to face human interaction and the sense of companionship
that one derives when tackling challenges together and in person through the
medium of tabletop gaming and board games.
Mission: A Board Yet? Gaming Café in every major
metropolitan community of 200,000 or more, with an integrated backbone of
communications, storage and quality of life technology designed for the board
gaming and table top gaming communities. Board Yet? Will be positioned to be
the go to location in most major metropolitan locations across North America
with the built in network to allow for communication between locations to allow
for gamers to connect with each other while still providing an intimate in
person experience to our patrons. We will provide a comfortable environment to
those in the gaming hobby while encouraging community events within the
community, and provide amenities designed to cater to those within the hobby.
Values:
Be supportive of new community members: The board gaming and
table top community is typically comprised of those who feel outcasted by
society and it is important to be inclusive to new members of the community.
Help others: Our staff is there to help others learn and
enjoy the hobby that we all love.
Be honest: Honesty is always the best policy to have especially
when the challenges that present themselves in a gaming environment can lend
themselves to the occasional compulsion to cheat.
Have integrity: Integrity is doing the right thing even when
no one is looking, all of our employees will pride themselves on being
respected members of our community.
Every idea has merit: The world is built on ideas and no
idea should be cast aside without first examining its merit, even those made in
jest may still have value. Although not ever idea is applicable they should
still be evaluated.
Customers are family:
We are not just building a community, we are building a family.
